The June CSN meeting will be partnering with local first responders to host a non-certified training for the community to learn lifesaving skills. The training will be on the following:
- Hands-Only CPR: Learn how to perform effective chest compressions to keep blood circulating during cardiac arrest.
- Stop the Bleed: Discuss and practice techniques to control bleeding, including the use of tourniquets and wound packing.
- Narcan Administration: Understand how to recognize opioid overdose and safely administer Narcan to reverse its effects.
The in-person training will be located at Bright Futures for Youth Community Room located at 200 Litton Drive, Grass Valley on the third floor. A detailed flyer will be coming soon.
The CSN meeting is Wednesday, 6.4.25, 3:30pm – 5pm.
