library’s summer reading program for babies, kids, and teens

July 8, 2017

Thanks to Lisa Nowlain, Youth Librarian, Nevada County Community Libraries for the following note. Here’s the flyer with all the info: Library’s 2017 Summer Reading programs

“The library’s summer reading program is up and running.

Babies, kids, and teens can sign up all summer long at any of our branches. When they sign up, they get a free book for signing up, and a challenge sheet. If they finish the sheet by August 3, we have lots of great prizes they can win, including an iPad Mini, Fair packages, movie tickets, and more. Research shows that kids who read 5 books over the summer stop summer slide! We also have tons of free programs for all ages at all our branches all summer long. No library card necessary!”
