What: FREE Parent/Caregiver Education Night

Note: This event is geared toward adults and we’d like to create a space for them to talk freely. Future events may be geared toward youth.

Learn about the latest trends in marijuana use among our youth, how it effects their health and brain development and ways to educate and support them in making healthy decisions. This event is FREE and open to the public. Parents and Caregivers of youth are encouraged to attend. Registration is on Event Brite – see links below. The night will include:

  • A resource fair with local agencies who work with youth
  • A short presentation on the latest research and facts on marijuana and youth
  • Screening of the DVD: The Other Side of Cannabis
  • Testimonials/Panel of Speakers: Parent, Youth, Counselor
  • 40 Assets: Tips to support and encourage resiliency with our youth
  • Q/A session
